Miss Universe Angola 2018 aka Miss Angola 2018 held its grand finale on 29th June 2018 in a glamorous gala held in Luanda, under the presentation of Zuleica Wilson and Igor Benza. Nineteen beautiful divas competed for the national title giving their best efforts.
Ana Liliana who represented Benelux at the national competition was crowned Miss Universe Angola 2018 by her predecessor Miss Angola 2017 Lauriela Martins at the end of the event finale. Ana will now represent Angola at Miss Universe 2018.
Ana holds a Bachelor in Business Studies and is the creator of ‘You Superior Mind’, a self improvement community which spreads self awareness to people. Ana, through her efforts, wishes for people to build confidence and not feel like they are any less from anyone else.
Ana dazzled the finale night in her silver studded gown, looking ever so beautiful. The 23-year-old will definitely represent her country with sincerity and dedication at the international platform of Miss Universe as well.
Artists such as Zone 5 and Celda performed on the grand finale stage making the audience cheer and applaud in appreciation. Igor Benza and Zuleica Wilson also did a marvelous job in hosting and guiding the pageant to its end.
Her predecessor Lauriela Martins represented Angola at Miss Universe 2017 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 16 at the final competition. The national pageant, founded in 1997, sent its representatives to Miss Universe and Miss World till 2013. Began 2013, Miss Angola only sends a representative to Miss Universe pageant.
