Miss Asia Pacific International extends donation drive to help the front liners in other countries

The fifth edition of the Miss Asia Pacific International i.e., Miss Asia Pacific International 2020 will be held in the month of October. Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 Chaiyenne Huisman from Spain will crown her successor at the event finale.

The outbreak of the pandemic covid19 in the world has put a halt on every beauty pageant as the Organizations and the beauty queens are trying to raise awareness about the pandemic. The Miss Asia Pacific International Organization recently has a donation drive to help the front liners facing the Covid-19 in Philippines, Spain, and Italy.

The Organization has extended has announced on their social media account that they are going to extend their donation drive for three more countries. The donations will help health institutions based in France, Germany and the United States. “The best way to thank our frontliners is to protect them. We can all make a difference,” the post read.

The President of Miss Asia Pacific International, Jacqueline Tan-Sainz stated that they were contacted by the national directors of mentioned countries after they saw that we had a donation drive for Spain, Philippines and Italy. They asked for help and the organization was honoured to help. “There will also be personal funds coming from our directors,” Tan-Sainz added.

The General Manager of the Organization Essa Santos stated that the organization is ready to help the front liners and anyone who needs the essential in such times. The organization has extended their gratitude towards the people who are tirelessly helping the public to stay safe and secure at the time of outbreak of the pandemic. “Thank you for your heroic and inspiring sacrifices and know that we are with you every step of the way”, the post read.

The reigning queen Chaiyenne Huisman has also stated that she is trying to stay positive and strong now. She is currently based in Netherlands. “The rules here are a little different than in other countries. For example, we can go outside and do activities like go for a run, which I do. So, we still enjoy some fresh air. But we aren’t allowed to be in the company of more than two people, and we must stay 1.5 meters apart,” Huisman shared.
