The Miss Aura International organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the pageant from 11th to 26th September 2022 in Antalya, Turkey where stunning delegates from all over the world will compete for the international title. This year’s winner will succeed the reigning queen, Miss Aura International 2021 Alexandra Faith Garcia of the Philippines.
The organization has recently revealed Somalia’s representative for the upcoming competition. Hibaq Ahmed will be representing the country at Miss Aura International 2022 as Miss Aura Somalia 2022. This Somalian beauty lives in UK and works a model.
At a very young age Hibaq took love for education, books became her form of escapism. Now she is a qualified English teacher. She has a degree in literature and Modern history which she believes to be very important as to know where you’re going you must know where you have come from.
The diva’s reason for competing for the Miss Aura International title is because she is excited to empower her young Somali girls and teach them to take the present opportunities to them and make the most of life. Her aim is to help others feel enlightened and empowered. She strongly believes that all kids deserve an education, and free education should be prioritized not just in first world countries but everywhere around the world.
As a teacher she feels like she has a responsibility to make a change here. Children should be able to believe in themselves, have confidence and be equipped with tools to help them through life. She is currently in the process of publishing her first book. In the next five years she is aiming to set up an orphanage for kids and provide free education, in Somalia and England and to open a school in Somalia that teaches English and history as well as to be a successful model.
Prior to this, she also participated in Miss Elite 2022. For her, winning Miss Aura International would be an immense opportunity for her to share the beauty and brains of Somalia, to take Miss Aura to East Africa and scale it. Miss Aura International is an annual global beauty pageant held in Turkey that promotes Beauty, Behavior, Brain and Body of women around the world. Around more than 30 girls from around the world participated every year.
