At the conclusion of the event finale of Miss Austria 2018 held on 1st September 2018 in Design Center Linz, Daniela Zivkov was crowned the new reigning queen. She is now the national delegate of her country at Miss World 2018 to be held on 6th December 2018 in Sanya, China. She was crowned by Miss World Austria 2017 Sarah Chvala who represented Austria at Miss World 2017.
Daniela Zivkov is 21 years of age and stands tall at a height of 175 cm. She works at Rituals Cosmetics and is from Linz, Austria. Daniela is an aspiring career officer and defeated 19 other contestants to win the national title.
The court of Daniela included the crowning of first runner-up Izabela Ion who succeeds Miss Universe Austria 2017 Celine Schrenk. Izabela will now represent Austria at Miss Universe 2018 to be held on 17th December 2018. Miss Earth Austria 2017 Bianca Kronsteiner of Upper Austria crowned Miss Earth Austria 2018 Sarah Posch, who was the second runner-up.
Austria is yet to make a mark in Miss Universe and Miss Earth but has already won the title of Miss World twice in the past. Once in 1969, when Miss World Austria 1969 Eva Rueber-Staier won the international crown and once in 1987 when Ulla Weigerstorfer won Miss World 1987.
