17 Sep 2018 | Camilla Suarez

At the grand finale of Miss Universe Bahamas 2018 held on 16th September 2018 at Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, Danielle Grant is the newly crowned queen and will represent Bahamas in Miss Universe 2018. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Bahamas 2017 Yasmine Cooke.

Danielle bested eleven other ladies to win the national title with her graceful and outstanding performance. Danielle, following the mantra of Confidently Beautiful, has animal advocacy as her platform as she has always preached how animals have been therapeutic for humans and help in reducing stress. She was also a part of our Top 4 favourite contestants competing for the title.

Here are the twelve contestants competing for the title of Miss Universe Bahamas 2018. The panel of judges in Miss Universe Bahamas 2018 included – Miss Bahamas Universe 2011 Anastagia Pierre, Founder of Modelscout Inc Ward Cottrell, Pop fashion photographer Jamie Bruce, Fashion designer Basheva Eve, Editor of Regard magazine Dimitri Loiseau and Reality housewife of Orange County Gretchen Rossi.

Bahamas is yet to pioneer its win at the coveted Miss Universe pageant. Last year, Yasmine Cooke represented Bahamas in Miss Universe 2017 but unfortunately failed to secure a spot in Top 16 at the coveted pageant.
