Chayenne van Aarle crowned Miss Belgium 2022

The Miss Belgium organization hosted the grand finale of the 2022 edition on 26th March 2022 at the Proximus Theatre, Adinkerke, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown. At the end of the event, Miss Grand Belgium 2021 Kedist Deltour crowned Chayenne van Aarle as her successor.

Miss Belgium 2022 Chayenne van Aarle’s court includes –

First runner-up - Elle Leclercq

Second runner-up - Silvana Spyros



A few days before the finale, the new queen had shared, “I have one dream and it’s to become Miss Belgium.” 22 year-old Chayenne hails from Antwerp and worked as an air hostess. Apart from the title, she was also awarded as Miss Talent.

I was born in a caravan, but grew up in a castle. My father adopted and cared for retired circus animals. I learned that if you work hard, you can achieve your aims,” she shared during the gala. She loves being real, have a positive mindset, and promotes self-love and positive vibes.

Apart from the crowning, the highlight of the night was the speech by Miss Ukraine Universe 2021 Anna Neplyah, whose words made tears abound. “We are here on a special evening, but we must not forget that we experience scary hours not so far from here", said the miss who sat on the jury. “Every hour our soldiers, our children, the mothers of our children die. It's war in my country, something we could never imagine. That Putin has blood from so many people on his hands. Let us pray." The speech was followed by a cold applause and standing ovation.



In addition to the national title, special awards were won by Thira Moelants who was titles Miss Sympa and Miss Sport. Chiara Cantanzaro won the Miss Charty title along with being adjudged as the fourth lady of honour. Miss Model and third lady of honour was Penelope Vandooren, whereas Sofia El Banouti and Shania Verbeurgt won the Miss Beach and Miss Social Media titles respectively.
