You are the universe expressing itself as a human for just a little while.

Tonie Chisholm

Tonie Chisholm (26) was crowned winner at the Miss Cayman Islands 2015, held on January 31' 2015 at the Lions Centre, George Town, Grand Cayman. Miss Cayman Islands is a national Beauty pageant where the winner represents Cayman Islands at the international pageants like Miss Universe and Miss World pageant. The first Miss Cayman Islands pageant was held in the year 1977, and since then, the pageant became a yearly tradition that is one of the biggest national events at Cayman Islands.

Standing tall at a height of 5’7”, Tonie was born and raised in Cayman and represents the amiable district of North Side. When asked what she loves the most about her country and district, Tonie says- “I love how diverse our community is even though it is small. Caymanians are no longer just Boddens, Ebanks, Chisholms; we have roots all over the world. To me my district North Side means family. It’s a place where everyone can retreat to, finding comfort in spending time with each other. I don’t think you could want much more in a place you call home.

Tonie defeated 9 other contestants to prevail the title. She will now represent the Cayman Islands in Miss Universe 2015. The first and second runner up at the same event were, Adrianna Christian (25) and Emily Bodden (24) respectively. Let’s take a look at the winners of the pageant.
