03 Aug 2023 | Priya Bhardwaj

Karla Bchir was crowned Miss Côte d'Azur 2023 at the finale of the regional pageant held on Sunday, 30th July 2023 at Arènes de Fréjus. She will now represent Côte d'Azur at Miss France 2024 later in the year.

Karla is 19 years of age and bested 13 other delegates to win the crown. She is a model and real estate student from Cannes. Karla has already posed for Banana Moon, Beliza Swimwear, Ana & Cha, and Selestia Paris. Karla gave a bang on response to everyone who teased and bullied her in college because she was a bit large at that time.

“I gave myself the means but it is true that to tell me that I will leave for the Miss France election, next December, it shocks me. I’ll do anything to bring the crown back to the South and I will give the best of myself to be able to go as far as possible in this Miss adventure”, she quoted as she won.

For Karla, her mother is definitely an inspiration, and she wishes to follow in her footsteps. Her mother was 18 when she wore the first runner-up scarf for the Miss Juan-Les-Pins election. She is also inspired by two former Miss France winners including Iris Mittenaere and Amandine Petit.
