Miss Earth 2018 officially began on 6th October 2018 as gorgeous divas from all over the globe arrived in the Philippines to compete for the coveted crown. With its commencement, the preliminary competitions will also begin from 11th October 2018.
The National Costume Competition will be held on 11th October 2018 at the Ballroom of Century Park Hotel at 7 PM where ninety contestants will parade in their traditional costumes representing their country’s culture and heritage.
The official social media of Miss Earth Organization revealed the details of the competition in a post, “Miss Earth 2018 National Costume Competition, October 11, 2018, 7:00 PM at the Ballroom of Century Park Hotel Manila. Tickets are available at PHP 2,500.00. Available at the Century Park Hotel, Front Office, F & B outlets and Sales Office. Live Stream on www.facebook.com/MissEarth.”
Last year in Miss Earth 2017, Giancarla Fernández representing Bolivia (South America), Karen Ibasco representing Philippines (Asia Pacific), MaJo Castañeda representing Guatemala (North America), Maud Fadi representing Ghana (Africa), Glória Silva representing Portugal (Western Europe) and Lada Akimova representing Russia (Eastern Europe) were the winners of National Costume Competition.
The finale of Miss Earth 2018 will be held on 3rd November 2018 at Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Philippines. Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
