Miss Earth 2021, the 21st edition of the Miss Earth pageant. This is the second time that the pre-pageant activities and coronation night will be conducted virtually on 21st November 2021, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event.
While all the delegates are all set to put forward their advocacies at the international platform, the organization has revealed the panel of judges for the final competition.
These esteemed jury members will be responsible to elect one deserving diva who will be crowned as the new queen. So, without any further ado, let us meet the judges for Miss Earth 2021 –
Desmound Majekodunmi
Desmond Olumuyiwa Majekodunmi is a Nigerian environmentalist, chairman of Lagos State Urban Forest and Animal Shelter Initiative (LUFASI), radio show host of the Green Hour on Nigeria Info 99.3 FM, author, and song and script writer. He has received many awards in recognition of his work on agriculture and the environment. He has won the Nigerian Silverbird TV ‘Man of the Year’ and DW German TV network ‘Environment Hero’.
Adrienne Janic
Adrienne Janic, sometimes credited simply as AJ, is an American actress and television host of Serbian and Mexican descent. She has primarily worked as a television host including as a co-host of TLC's Overhaulin', an automotive, reality-television series. She was also a host of Hot Import Nights (2008), an automotive show on the Speed Channel.. From 2004 to 2006, Janic was one of the Fantanas, a group of promotional models that was created to promote Fanta brand of soft drinks in the U.S. She has also in several films.
Roel Refran
Majorly known as the Chief Operating Officer of the Philippines Stock Exchange, Roel is also a lawyer, a certified public accountant, professor and Fulbright scholar. He was also a bronze medalist in Mr. Philippines Bodybuilding competitions in 2002 and 2004. In his words, his story is about "setting goals and achieving them--will power getting me through hurdles and challenges."
Davonna Finley
Davonna is a well know women’s advocate, pageant analyst. She is also a Beauty Pageant Vlogger of the YouTube channel, ‘The Sovereign’. She is followed and subscribed by almost 80k pageant lovers and I best known for her reaction videos.
Allan Wu
Allan Wu is a Singapore-based Chinese-American actor, host, VJ and former model. He is perhaps best known for being the host of 3 different editions of the popular reality game show, The Amazing Race. He was the host of 5 seasons of AXN Asia's The Amazing Race Asia, 3 seasons of International Channel Shanghai's The Amazing Race: China Rush and 4 seasons of Shenzhen Media Group's Chinese edition of The Amazing Race.
Amel Rose
International popstar, singer and songwriter, Emily Rose who goes by Amel Rose, will be joining the panel to judge the final competition. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, Amel linked up with international music producer/songwriter DJ Fredy Muks. Rose has recently released her new single ‘The Ones’.
James Deakin
James Hernandez Deakin better known as James Deakin, is a Filipino-British television and events host, automotive journalist, video blogger, and motoring editor working for CNN Philippines and Philippine Tatler. Deakin currently works as the motoring editor for Philippine Tatler, a luxury-lifestyle magazine company.
For its 21st edition, Miss Earth takes on the theme “Colors of the Earth” to reflect the vast and unique biodiversity of the world. The theme also alludes to the brighter outlook on 2021 coming from a rather bleak 2020 due to the pandemic.
