On June 9’ 2016, Bruna Zanardo was crowned Miss Earth Brazil 2106 (also known as Miss Terra Brasil 2016). Bruna will now represent Brazil at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant. Bruna succeeds Miss Earth Brazil 2015, Thiessa Sickert. Thiesasa represented Brazil at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant and was titled the third runner-up.
24 years old Bruna is a renowned model from Sao Paulo and stands tall at an astounding height of 180cm. She has been modelling since the last ten years. Bruna is not new to the world of pageants as she has been a contestant at the Miss Intercontinental Brasil 2016 pageant, wherein she was adjudged as one of the Top 10 finalists.

Brazil has had a great run at the Miss Earth pageant. Ever since the country has participated at the Miss Earth pageant, it has placed 9 times. With two Miss Earth title - Priscilla Meirelles in 2004 and Larissa Ramos in 2009 – Six Elemental Crowns - Simone Régis, Priscila Zandoná, Tatiane Alves, Driely Bennettone, Camila Brant and Thiessa Sickert – Brazil does hold a strong placement at the Miss Earth.
