The organization of Miss Earth Cambodia has appointed Nisay Heng as the new Miss Earth Cambodia 2020 and she will be representing the Kingdom of Cambodia at the virtual pageant of Miss Earth 2020. She has succeeded Miss Earth Cambodia 2019 Thoung Mala for the title.

Nisay is 24-years-old and stands 170 cm tall. She is a graduate from Bridgewater State University, USA with a degree in International Relations. She is very passionate about representing Cambodia at international level as she feels that the world should know their traditions and culture.

The diva is not new to the world of pageantry as she was the first runner-up at Miss University Cambodia 2016 and was also a part of Miss Cosmopolitan World Cambodia 2016. She has worked with several brands and designers after her stint at Miss Cosmopolitan World Cambodia 2016 and was appreciated for being professional and hardworking towards her work.

On asking if she’s ready for the first virtual pageant, Nisay stated “I’m excited at the same time challenged as the new normal needs a lot of adjustments. I’m here now as an Eco Angel who will promote Cambodia to the rest of the world.”

Amidst her busy schedule, the diva’s determination enables her to manage her time in school and at work as External Relations Officer for an NGO in Phnom Penh that focuses on underprivileged high school students to pursue a higher education. In 2017, she became a Cabin Crew where she gained confidence, independence and enjoyed traveling to many countries. She just completed last July her international exchange program in Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, USA.

Nisay is an eloquent public speaker who advocates for Youth Education and Women Empowerment and to find Sustainable Development Programs that would help protect the environment for the next generation. She would use the platform to educate and create awareness regarding the same and is very excited to be a part of such prestigious stage.

The diva is strong, confident, and focused towards winning and has expressed that she is very grateful and feels blessed that the organization believes in her and feels that she is the right candidate to represent the country at the Miss Earth 2020 stage. She believes in working hard at every step of the life and has already started to prepare herself for the pageant. The competition is going to start from September mid and the grand finale will take place on 29th November 2020.
