Miss Earth Ecuador 2017 is on its road to a finale and the finalists for the pageant have been selected. Miss Earth Ecuador 2016 and Miss Earth 2016, Katherine Espin will officially crown her successor at the finale night. The winner of the pageant will be sent to the Miss Earth 2017 beauty pageant which is scheduled to be held on 4th November 2017 in Manila, Philippines.

Ecuador made debut in the Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2003. In 2005, Cristina Reyes was among the 10 finalists and this was the first time when Ecuador entered in the top 16 in the Miss Earth pageant. The pageant fanatics have a lot of expectations from the current contestants as they have seen the Ecuadorian beauty, Katherine Espin winning the title of Miss Earth last year.
