The grand coronation of Miss Earth Ecuador 2018 will be held on 29th September 2018 at the Centro de Convenciones Mall del Rio in Cuenca. The winner will represent Ecuador in Miss Earth 2018 which will be held on 3rd November 2018 in Mall of Asia Arena, Boracay, Malay, Aklan, the Philippines where Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco will crown the new queen.

Miss Earth Ecuador 2018 will be crowned by her successor Miss Earth Ecuador 2017 Lessie Giler. Lessie represented Ecuador in Miss Earth 2017 but unfortunately was not able to secure a position in the finale.

But before the finale, Angelopedia has selected its Top 4 favourite contestants who are most likely to win the national title and represent Ecuador in Miss Earth 2018. These four contestants are –

Julieth Gonzáles Rojas

Julieth Gonzáles Rojas is representing El Oro in Miss Earth Ecuador 2018 and is currently residing in Machala. She was a student of Universidad Técnica de Machala (Technical University of Machala). Julieth is 18 years of age.

Julieth was also titled Queen of the Carnival of Porto Bolívar 2018 which gives her the much-needed advantage and experience over her competitors. As the winner, she worked with the authorities of Puerto Bolivar to enhance tourism.

Camila Limones Junco

Camila Krystel Limones Junco is representing Guayas in Miss Earth Ecuador 2018. She stands tall with a height of 172 cm. Camila is also a model and can often be seen having a gala time with her friends and family.

Camila is no stranger to the pageant world as she was second runner-up in the Teen Ecuador Beauty Queen 2014, the winner of CN Models Search La Busqueda 2015 and is currently carrying the title of Miss Tierra Aire Guayas 2018 (Miss Earth Air Guayas). With all this experience, she will surely hard to beat at the finale.

Shirley Lucero Delgado

Shirley Lucero Delgado is representing Azuay and is a student of Clinical psychology at the Universidad de Cuenca (University of Cuenca). She completed her schooling from Carlos Antonio Garcia Mora. Shirley is currently living in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Shirley is a model by profession. She has the most mesmerizing eyes and people are already a huge fan of her beauty. Since Shirley has already won so many hearts, there is no doubt she will be winning many more during the finale.

Laura Sempertegui

Laura Cristina Sempertegui Ortega is representing Guayas in Miss Earth Ecuador 2018. She is 23 years of age and is currently a medical student in the University of Guayaquil. Laura likes to play soccer during her free time. Along with that, she loves dancing and cooking.

Laura writes poems during her free time and is well-read. During her fight for the local title, she advocated against the use of sorbets and plastic bottle, citing the negative impact it has on the environment and thus wanted to educate people through campaigning.

There are 12 contestants participating to compete for the national title, namely Diana Valdiviezo Ortiz, Raiza Ortega, Camila Limones Junco, Jocelyn Mieles Zambrano, Julieth Gonzales Rojas, Camila Espinosa Paz, Andrea Hidrobo Nina, Melanie Burgos Palacios, Shirley Lucero Delgado, Laura Sanchez Espinoza, Laura Sempertegui Ortega and Andrea Merino Guerrero.
