Miss Earth Japan organization held the finale of the 2022 edition of the national pageant on 26th July 2022 in Tokyo where Manae Matsumoto was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2022 and became the official representative of Japan at Miss Earth 2022. Manae succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Japan 2021.
Manae Matsumoto is 25 years of age who bested twenty-four delegates to win the national crown. She likes to watch movies and is a third dan calligrapher. Manae stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and represented Saitama at the contest. The newly crowned Miss Earth Japan 2022 Manae Matsumoto’s elemental court included –

Manae succeeds Miss Earth Japan 2021 Konatsu Yoshida who represented Japan at Miss Earth 2021 but remained unplaced. The country won the highest placement in 2010 when Marina Kishira placed in the Top 7. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Earth.
