Miss Earth Philippines 2020, the first virtual edition of Miss Earth Philippines, has begun with its preliminary competition as for the first time ever, a winner will be crowned virtually to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2020. The winner will succeed Miss Earth Philippines 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee who represented Philippines at Miss Earth 2019.

The Talent competition (long gown category) was held on 9th June 2020 where the contestants showed their creativity from their own homes. The competition was conducted via the Zoom meeting platform, where thirty-one delegates showcased their beautiful long gowns from their own respective locations. They were judged by Miss Earth Thailand 2019 Nampetch Teeyapar, Noel Crisostomo; international Fili-Candaian designer, Alex Vergara; journalist, Ronaldo Arnaldo; Filipino designer and Dale Gregory Medina; pageant vlogger. The event was hosted by Miss Philippines Earth 2007 Jeanne Harn. Here are the winners of the category –

Gold - Miah Llanes from Fil-Dubai, UAE

Miah Llanes won the first prize or the gold award for the long gown competition. She wore a teal green gown which had a beautiful side slits and embroidery in the upper side of the gown. It looked beautiful on her and the perfect top knot bun looked apt with her evening gown. The gown was designed by Karla Fuentes. 

Silver - Justiene Ortega from City of Manila

Justiene Ortega won the second prize or silver award for the long gown competition. She wore a golden gown which was inspired by the rays of the sun with tassels touching a glittery leave-patterned fabric to symbolize the sun's power of giving light and life to Mother Earth. It is also an icon of battle cry to highlight the sun's gift of unlimited light and energy that can change lives and is one of the biggest hopes of our planet against Climate Crisis.

Bronze - Ilyssa Marie Mendoza from Fil-Melbourne, Australia

Ilyssa Marie won third prize or bronze aware for the long gown competition. Her beautiful orange gown was designed by Roy Erwin Tizon and she looked beautiful. The long gown went down the floor and had beautiful and enchanting embroidery all over. She wore her hair in a tight pony tail and wore minimal accessory to complete her look.
