Zoja Ulaga from Novi Mesto emerged victorious as Miss Earth Slovenia 2024. The pageant, which ended prematurely due to unexpected changes in the international schedule, saw Ulaga donning the winner's crown and the coveted ribbon, handed over by last year's titleholder, Monika Cavlovic.

Ulaga's journey to the crown was marked by her stellar performances in various segments of the competition. She garnered the highest points at the talent show meeting, excelled in the business challenge, and impressed the judges at the Model Miss Earth 2024 event. Her eco-dress presentation at the fashion show was another highlight, showcasing her commitment to environmental sustainability.

Alja Felicijan from Celje was named the first runner-up, earning the title Miss Earth-Air Slovenia 2024. Satja Krivec from Višnja Gora secured the second runner-up position as Miss Earth-Water Slovenia 2024, while Adelisa Alickovic from Postojna finished as the third runner-up, or Miss Earth-Fire Slovenia 2024.

Ulaga, who takes over from Cavlovic, is now preparing for the international Miss Earth pageant. Originally scheduled to take place in Vietnam in December, the global event has been rescheduled to early October in the Philippines. The change in venue and date came after complications with the host country. The national winners will gather in the Philippines a month before the grand finale.

This marks the 17th year that Slovenia will be represented at the Miss Earth pageant. Ulaga’s win brings a renewed sense of excitement and anticipation as she embarks on her journey to the international stage, aiming to bring home the coveted Miss Earth crown.
