The Miss Earth Zimbabwe organization announced its winner for the 2021 edition of Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2021 in a press conference held recently, where beauties from all over the country competed for the coveted title and earned the opportunity to represent Zimbabwe at the international stage. Jemima Mandemwa was crowned as Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2021 at the end of the event finale and will represent the country at the virtual coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2021. She succeeds Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2020 Tinokunda Moyo for the title.

Jemima is a professional model and also the founder of an environmental organization called “Let’s Talk Green Zimbabwe.” She is also an apparel entrepreneur and has won several beauty pageants before including Miss Super Globe Africa 2019 subtitle. She also competed in Miss Super Globe 2019 held in the UAE, where she was placed as the first runner-up.

The 21-year-old feels strongly about environmentalism. One of her quotes of choice is, “Sooner or later, we will have to recognise that the Earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings cannot live without Mother Earth, but the planet can live without humans.”, by Eva Morales.

The beauty queen shared her joy on her social media saying “l’m confidently channeling myself in the right direction towards being the 2nd Miss Earth from Africa This one is for us [Zimbabwe],”.

Miss Earth 2021, the 21st edition of Miss Earth, is all set to be held later this year in November, the event will take place virtually. Beautiful ladies from all across the globe will compete to become Miss Earth 2021. Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Zimbabwe has yet to establish a win at the Miss Earth crown. Last year, Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2020 Tinokunda Moyo remained unplaced at the Miss Earth 2020 pageant. Will Jemima Mandemwa be the one to pioneer its first win for the country?
