The Miss Ukraine Universe organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2021 edition of the pageant on 15th October 2021 at the Fairmont Grand Hotel in Kyiv, where Anna Neplyakh was crowned as the new queen. At the same event, Nelly Popovych was crowned as Miss Eco International Ukraine 2021.

The 25-year-old Nelly Popovych is a graduate from Uzhhorod National University, Faculty of Law and International Business. She is a practicing lawyer and runs her own business. Her retail company is called La Nella Boutique and it delivers its products all across Ukraine. A sympathetic heart, Nelly has been visiting orphanages ever since she was a child. She actively tries to tend to the needs of disadvantaged children by providing them with her help and support.

Her interests include playing active sports like tennis and reading books on psychology. She considers herself ambitious and believes that anything is possible. She basks in her love for life and is as much a dreamer as she is a doer. Not new to pageantry, the queen has also been crowned as 2nd Vice Miss Ukraine Universe 2021 before.

Taking to her social media, the queen wrote, “It is finished! I share with you my joy - yesterday at the contest "Miss Ukraine Universe" –2021, I became the 2nd vice-miss and received the title "Miss Eco International" - thanks to which I will be able to represent our country at the international contest in Egypt!”

The 7th version of Miss Eco International will take place in March 2022 in Egypt, where delegates from more than 30 countries and autonomous territories will compete for the international title and crown for two weeks. At the end of the event, Miss Eco International 2021 Gizzelle Uys from South Africa will crown her successor as Miss Eco International 2022.
