While the commencement of Miss Ecuador 2022 is yet to be announced, the excitement around the competition has already started buzzing in. According to some reports from the Ecuador pageant world, Mara Topic is to join the batch of beauties to compete for the national title this year.
With a whopping fan-following of 32.1k followers on Instagram, Mara is a crowd favourite and is popular for her work in 2017’s drama film The Hideaway and Wesley Rodriguez’s helmed Debbie's feet which released in 2016. Aside from being an effective actor, Topic also acts as a producer for TopicFilms. If reports are to be believed, Mara will be seen vying for the Ecuadorian crown later this year.
Not new to the world of pageantry, Topic was appointed as Miss Grand Ecuador 2019 and successfully represented her country at Miss Grand International 2019 as she placed in the Top 10 of the international contest. Finishing as a semi-finalist on a global platform has strengthened her pageant portfolio. Needless to point out, why fans want her to go even bigger this time.
This year will mark the 72nd edition of the Miss Ecuador pageant. The previous edition was won by Susy Sacoto on 11th September 2021 at the Malecón de Quevedo, Los Ríos. The winner of Miss Ecuador 2022 will succeed 24-years-old Susy as she will relay the baton of her reign to the next diva.
