Hagar Mohamed crowned Miss Egypt 2022

Miss Egypt organization hosted the 2022 edition of the national pageant where Hagar Mohamed was crowned Miss Egypt 2022. The finale was held on Sunday, 28th August 2022 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo. Amaal Rezk, the President of Miss Egypt organization, crowned the winner at the finale.

Hagar Mohamed is 26 years of age and a travel enthusiast. She bested over 20 other contestants to win the national title. The new Miss Egypt is a graduate of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport with a degree in language and communication.

 

 

"I still can’t believe that I just did it," she wrote in a statement on her official social media after winning the competition. "Thank you so much for your support," she added.

Also at the end of the event finale, Mahira Faissal, Shorouk Elzoghby, Reem Neweshi, and Nourane Essam completed the Top 5 finalists.

 

 

Hagar succeeds Miss Egypt 2021 Nadine El Gaiar who took her last walk at the reigning queen. She is expected to represent her country at the upcoming Miss World pageant. Miss World 2022 will be the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant where Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event.
