The eighty-eighth beauty queen of France crowned Miss France 2018 on 16th December 2017, Maëva Coucke of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, has been the reigning queen for well over a month now. After an eventful one month of her reign as Miss France, Maëva Coucke finally made a very public appearance that was sure notable.

She was seen adding glamour to a very glittery Hollywood night in Paris. Maëva Coucke was one of the guests at the Paris premiere if Steven Spielberg’s Pentagon Papers. Maëva share space alongside prominent Hollywood figures, and Oscar-winning actors, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep.

The premiere for the long-held up film was held at the famous UGC Normandie.

All of the attendees kept the dress code closer to the movie, with formal attire. Maëva Coucke followed suit in a black pantsuit with a low neckline just for the touch of glamour.

Pentagon Papers, nominated for Oscars, focuses on the role of the first woman director of the publication of a major American newspaper, the Washington Post, Katharine Graham. She joins forces with editor Ben Bradlee to unveil a monumental state scandal and catch up with the New York Times, which is conducting its own investigations. These revelations concern the manoeuvres of four American presidents, over thirty years, intended to stifle very sensitive business

The American director, Spielberg, who came to Paris with his wife Kate Capshaw, was on the set of TMC's Quotidien on January 12 and was asked about the Weinstein scandal and whether he had thought of making it a film. " I might be the last person to tell Harvey Weinstein's scandal, there will be plenty of other people doing it better than me, " he says firmly. When Yann Barthès asks him to clarify his thoughts, the filmmaker simply declares: " Because I do not like it."
