The finale of Miss Georgia USA 2023 was held on Saturday, 19th November 2022 at the Henry County Performing Arts Center in McDonough where Rachel Russaw was crowned the new winner as she became the official representative of Georgia at Miss USA 2023.
Rachel Russaw is 24 years of age and a graduate of University of Alabama with a degree in human environmental science. Rachel is an entrepreneur, vlogger, and influencer living in Atlanta. She is also an advocate for mental health who uses her platform to motivate and empower women through #influenceherirl.
The newly crowned Miss Georgia USA 2023 Rachel Russaw’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Vanessa Van Dyke
2nd Runner-up – Karson Pennington
3rd Runner-up – Ariana Blaize
4th Runner-up – Natalie Bode
Top 16 also included Robin Burnett, Britain Bennett, Taylor Key, Chelsea Alexandra Davis, Christina Millar, Chinelo Aniekwu, Madison Dedmon, Erielle Scott, Elizabeth Kicklighter, Victoria Gutierrez and Aja Murray.
On winning the state title, Rachel took to her official social media as she wrote, "Last night my dream came true as I was crowned Miss Georgia USA 2023! I am honored and humbled to have been chosen from the amazing group of women I spent the past several days getting to know. You ladies will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope to make you all proud.”
Also at the finale, Denim Lovett was crowned Miss Georgia Teen USA 2023 as she became the official representative of Georgia at Miss Teen USA 2023. Zaria Walker, Meri Alyce Statham, Maleah Martin and Siara Caspari were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
