The Miss Grand Australia organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the national pageant on 16th July 2022 in Sydney, where stunning delegates from all around the country will compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant.

The organization has recently announced Amber Sidney Dew as the Wildcard National Finalist for Miss Grand Australia 2022. Only one Wild Card position was up for grabs for which strong aspirants from all over the country applied. Hailing from Melbourne, Amber shared, “I will be representing Victoria at the national finals of Miss Grand Australia 2022 where the winner will have the opportunity to represent Australia at Miss Grand International 2022.”

She further added, “I am really grateful for this opportunity and am looking forward to the Miss Grand Australia program this year! What I love about Miss Grand Australia is that they are very much dedicated to the self-development component of the competition ensuring that each girl is well trained to her best potential. I also admire how much the program focuses on having an impact and making a difference.”

The diva is looking forward to working with ‘Destiny Rescue’ this year to raise funds and awareness so that more children can be rescued and live happily and safely. The Miss Grand Australia organization also supports ‘Destiny Rescue’ who rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

Not new to pageantry, Sidney was a Miss Universe Australia state finalist, and is currently BullyZero Ambassador, Gigantes Island Philippines Charity and Tourism Ambassador, Model, Founder of the series Voice 4 Difference and business Socks 4 Difference as well as a Communications professional and Advocate for gender equality and kindness.

The diva is definitely a strong addition to this year’s batch of strong, determined and passionate national finalists. These finalists will compete against each other in a series of pre-pageant and preliminary competition before the Grand Gala. This year’s winner will succeed Miss Grand Australia 2021 Angolina Amores for the title, who represented Australia at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant and finished among the Top 21 quarterfinalists.
