The organization of Miss Grand China announced Fiona Tao as the new Miss Grand China 2020 and she will be representing China at Miss Grand International 2020 that is scheduled to take place on 27th March 2021 in Thailand. Fiona succeeded Miss Grand China 2019 Deng Jiefang for the title and is excited to take over the crown duties as Miss Grand China 2020.
Fiona has earned her master’s degree in Business Administration and is currently a program manager for HP. She has received multiple academic and professional awards and is very passionate about pageantry as she aspired to be a beauty queen since she was a small girl. Fiona explained that she loves to be cheerful and smile always as she believes that there is nothing greater than being able to give a little bit of her smile to brighten their day.
Fiona aspires to become a future woman leader of the technology industry and is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was recently a part of Miss World Canada 2020 and prior to that she had competed in Miss Chinese Cosmos and Miss Chinese New York where she was appreciated for her strong performance but was not placed. But Fiona has never let the failure put her down but always learnt to be better and confident about herself. She mentioned that beauty pageants have taught her so much in life and she is very grateful for the opportunities she has received.
With the title and platform of Miss Grand China 2020, the diva would be able to reach out to a massive audience and connect with them with her aspirations and commitment towards women centric communities. She loves to play guitar, learn about various cultures, travel, and live her life to the fullest.
The diva stands firmly against the gender equality in her community and across the world which was her beauty with purpose at Miss World Canada 2020 and now with Miss Grand China 2020 she would love to take the purpose to a next level and reach to the masses and educate them with the same. She wants to create a network of professionals that will help in empowering the next generation of women.
Fiona is strong, confident, positive, and determined towards performing her best on-stage and making the people of her country proud. As she explained that with every beauty pageant, she has been a part of she has learned something new that helped her to be better and more stronger and that skills and techniques will help her at Miss Grand International 2020.
