CNB Costa Rica organization, through their official social media, announced the crowning of Kristell Ruiz Freeman as the new Miss Grand Costa Rica 2023 as she became the official representative of Costa Rica at Miss Grand International 2023.

Kristell is 26 years of age and a journalist, audiovisual producer by profession. She is a bilingual and hails originally from the province of Limón. The organization made the official announcement as follows, “Here is your queen, Costa Rica! Kristell Ruiz Freeman has been designated by the National Beauty Contest, as Miss Grand Costa Rica 2023. Now, she will have the responsibility of representing 5 million Costa Ricans in Miss Grand International 2023, in Vietnam.”

Kristell Ruiz Freeman succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand Costa Rica 2022 Brenda Muñoz who represented her country at Miss Grand International 2022 but unfortunately remained unplaced.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International, will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
