Sofia Acosta was crowned Miss Grand Cuba 2023 at the finale of the national competition held on Sunday, 20th August 2023 held at Marriott Tampa Westshore. Sofia will prepare to represent Cuba at Miss Grand International 2023.

Sofia Acosta is 26 years of age. The stunning beauty is a Cuba-born model residing in Miami. Sofia is currently a construction management student at Florida International University. She also works as an assistant project manager for Miami-Dade County.

On being crowned Miss Grand Cuba 2023, Sofia took to her official social media as she wrote, "Today, in front of the world, I am Cuba with immense pride. I represent modern-day Cuba, which persists tirelessly in the pursuit of its dreams. And what defines us Cubans is the tenacity and resilience we show in the face of any adversity."

With her reign, Sofia wishes to focus on her advocacy on education. She volunteers with a number of community organizations including Kiwanis of Little Havana, Big Brothers and Sisters, and Global Empowerment Mission.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of Miss Grand International, will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
