Lucero Arias of Dominican Republic is 19 years of age. She has been performing great at this year’s Miss Grand International beauty pageant. She has been voted as one of the Top 10 contestants in the national costume competition of MGI 2016 and has won many hearts with her charm. It is remarkable that she is holding up her country’s reputation at the international pageant.
Everyone remembers last year’s controversy when Anea Garcia of Dominican Republic shocked the whole world by stepping back after being crowned as the winner of Miss Grand International 2015 title. This year, it is a great responsibility for Lucero to make her country’s name high at the pageant.

Lucero Arias stands tall at a wonderful height of 180 centimetres. She is a good dancer and has taken ballet classes and training in tango dancing since a young age. She has studied from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The gorgeous beauty is ambitious to launch her own brand as she likes to be her own boss. Lucero is also an animal lover and loves to pet cats.
When asked about her advocacy on the 'Stop The War and Violence' campaign, she replied, “At my age, I feel as if we live in a generation that is slowly destroying mankind. We no longer have the same sympathy we used to have for others who are less fortune. Now, government officials feel is okay to used their army to destroy everything that stands on their way. We invest more money on the military than on education, we rebuilt to destroy. How do we expect for our kids to grow up feeling safe, if they grow up seeing and living under turmoil. How can we ask our kids to be different, if kids adapt about what they see.”
Arias is a beautiful person, inside out. She has a sensible, outgoing, and charming personality. She has done an amazing job in keeping up the image of her country, Dominican Republic, and will continue to win hearts at the 4th edition of Miss Grand International.
