In a recent post by the Facebook page of Miss Grand International, Valérie Alcide was crowned Miss Grand Haiti 2018. She will now represent Haiti in Miss Grand International 2018 to be held on 25th October 2018 in Myanmar, Burma.
Valérie succeeds Miss Grand Haiti 2017 Jennifer Alexis who represented her nation in Miss Grand International 2017. Unfortunately, she could not secure a position in the finale, but she was placed in the Top 25 in Best in Traditional Costume.
Valérie is 23 years of age and stands tall with a height of 176 cm. This gorgeous and bold winner is a model and also an actress by profession. Valérie is a student in diplomacy and a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Women Entrepreneurs of Haiti (CCFEH).

Valérie is no stranger to the pageant world as she had previously participated in Miss Earth 2016 where she represented Haiti. Haiti made a return to the Miss Earth pageant in 2016 after two years. Unfortunately, Valérie was not placed in the Top 16 during the finale, but she did finish third in the Miss Earth 2016 talent competition. This experience will definitely help her a lot when she will represent Haiti in Miss Grand International 2018.
