Praachi Nagpal was crowned Miss Grand India 2022 at the finale of the national pageant held on 4th September 2022 at Zee Studios in Jaipur. She will now represent India at Miss Grand International 2022.

Praachi hails from Hyderabad, Telangana. She is a trained Kathak dancer. Standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, Praachi is an excellent orator, has a charming personality and mesmerizing looks.

Praachi earned her bachelor’s degree in fashion communication from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Hyderabad. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in luxury and fashion management.

Not new to the pageant world, in 2018, Praachi competed against 12 other candidates in the 13th edition of The Tiara Queen by TGPC at The Tiara Institute in Pune, India and won the title, making her India’s first national pageant winner with type 1 diabetes.

After that, in 2018, Praachi competed against 23 other candidates at Glamanand Supermodel India 2018 and finished in the Top 5. Amidst the covid-19 pandemic, she worked for Femina Miss India 2020 Manasa Varanasi as a stylist.

Miss Grand International 2022 will be held at the Sentul International Convention Center in West Java, Indonesia on 25th October 2022 where Nguyen Thúc Thùy Tien of Vietnam will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
