Samantha Batallanos Cortegana was crowned Miss Grand Peru 2020 on 20th October 2019 as she became the official representative of Peru in Miss Grand International 2020. Ever since her coronation, Samantha has been working very hard to prepare for her international stint which will be held sometime in October this year.
Ever since her coronation, Samantha Batallanos has been busy doing her social work even during the widespread of the pandemic. She has been collecting food through her network to assemble baskets and feed the various areas of San Juan de Miraflores, a district where she has already done social work. Samantha sure has shown that she is an ideal contender for Miss Grand International 2020 crown.
Samantha took to her social media to reveal her feelings in a post captioned, “In this state of emergency fundamental actions we can do to help maintain a strengthen immune system include eating a healthy diet, being physically active, managing stress, and getting enough sleep. Please be safe and stay at home and make a salad!”
Samantha is a Journalism student and is not a rookie in beauty pageants since last year she participated in the Miss Landscapes international 2018. She comes from an orthodox Peruvian family where her parents had to work hard to educate her and her sisters and that made her a dreamer. She has always loved to act, dance and sing since she was a child. She is also about to release her first song which has always been a dream for the beauty queen.
