After an extensive evaluation process and screening, the Miss Grand Puerto Rico organization is all set to host the 2021 edition soon as they presented the three finalists for the Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2021 title, a few hours ago. The winner of the title will be heading to Miss Grand International 2021 to represent Puerto Rico on the grand stage and succeed Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2020 Fabiola Valentin, who achieved a position in the top 10 of the last edition.
The three beautiful young women vying for the crown are equally talented and stunning as they showcase strong competition for the title. So, without any further ado, let us meet the three finalists for Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2021 –
Ariette Banchs
Ariette Nathalia Bancha is 22-years-old and will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Microbiology. She represented the people of Ponce in the Miss Teen World Puerto Rico for 2016 where she took the title that night and went on to represent Puerto Rico in the Miss Teenager where she was ranked first finalist taking the title Miss Teenager World 2016.
Vivianie Diaz
Vivianie is also 22 years-old and a full-time student of the USC- School of Communications. She has won Miss Pre-teen Model Fashion, Miss Latin International, TBC Orlando and Miss Teen Universe representing the USA. In the recent past, she was placed among the Top 10 at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 and received the special award for Best Total Look and the L'Oreal Woman of Valor Award for her work in favor of the deaf community.
Maritery Carrion
24 year-old Maritery is a singer, songwriter, actress and a model by profession who also co-owns a clothing brand called Pocama. Maritery Carrión Portela represented Caguas in the Miss World Puerto Rico 2019 competition where she was adjudged as the third runner-up for the title. She was also a part of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 but soon withdrew for reasons concerning her health and her studies since she was in the last year of high school.
As part of the competition and final selection, the organization has opened up the voting lines for the audience to vote for their favourite contestants and help them win the Multimedia Test. The candidate who will have the most likes, shares and media traffic on their official social media platforms will obtain this score as part of the total sum of the qualifying jury. Voting begins today, June 11 at 6:00 pm and will end on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 11:00 pm.
