The Miss Grand Thailand organization hosted the official press conference for the 2022 edition as they celebrated 10 Years Anniversary of the organization together with Miss Grand International. The conference was held on Monday, 17th January 2022 at 14:00 onwards, local time. The event was streamed live on the GrandTV YouTube Channel.

The event started with a special show from the team Miss Grand Thailand 2020 Nam Patcharaphon Chantapradit, Padcha Phatchaploy Ruen Daluang, 2nd runner-up Miss Grand Thailand 2020, Oil Juthamas Mekseri, 3rd runner-up Miss Grand Thailand 2020 and Bonus Natnicha Srithongsuk, 4th runner-up Miss Grand Thailand 2020 came out to kick start the event.

Mr. Nawat president and founder of the Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Grand International contests shared that this year, the competitions will take place under the theme of MGI 10 year’s anniversary, celebrating the success of the 10th anniversary of the contest stage.

The Miss Grand Thailand also announced its collaboration with the No. 1 Molam band in Thailand, Raab, Rhetoric, looking for a new ambassador of the band, for which the delegates will compete for the title of Miss Grand Molam Rising Star. This beauty queen who wins this title will receive a cash prize of 100,000 baht and a sash.

The winner of the Miss Grand Thailand 2022 title will receive a diamond crown worth 1.2 million baht, cash, condominiums and many more. Apart from these specialties, the tentative schedule for this year’s edition of the national pageant was also revealed, which is as follows:

4th April – Reporting of the contestants from 77 provinces

6th April – Press Release for the contestants

10th – 21st April – Pre-pageant activities in Khon Kaen Province

24th April – National Costume Competition

27th April – Preliminary Competition

30th April – Final Judging round
