Miss Grand United Kingdom organization held the coronation night for Sofiya Mayers, the newly crowned Miss Grand United Kingdom 2022 and will represent the UK at Miss Grand International 2022.

Sofiya Mayers studied Art at University for the Creative Arts – UCA. She also studied Fashion & Design at UCA Library & Student Services Rochester. Sofiya is the marketing and sales executive at Ecosan Services.

On winning the national crown, Sofiya Mayers took to her official social media as she wrote, “The hardest kept secret of a lifetime. However now I can scream it from the roof tops. Miss Grand International, I am so ready for you! Thank you so much to Kathryn Fanshawe for this once in a lifetime opportunity , as your queen I promise to uphold the Miss Grand International organisations morals and standards.”

Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tien crowned Sofiya at the private coronation night. “Thank you so much for travelling all this way for my crowning ceremony, I am so honoured to be able to meet you both. Hopefully this is the start of many beautiful friendships”, Sofiya quoted as she thanked the reigning queen and Teresa.
