Melina Carballo has been officially confirmed to be the country’s first representative to Miss Grand International 2016 pageant. Melina Carballo was crowned Miss Grand Uruguay 2016 at the finals of Nuestra Belleza Uruguay 2016 held on June 24’ 2016. Romina Trotto was crowned as the winner and earned the right to represent Uruguay at the Miss World 2016 pageant.
19 years old Melina is one of the young promising models of the country. Possessing a great presence and an exceptional figure, Melina has good chances of placing at the Miss Grand International 2015 pageant. She has been inclined towards modelling ever since she was a child. In her spare time, Melina likes to sing, dance and exercise. She also likes to keep herself updated to her surroundings, and never misses on the current affairs.
At the finale of Nuestra Belleza Uruguay 2016, Thalía García was adjudged as the first runner up, Sofía Algorta was announced as the second runner up and Johana Clara was declared as the third runner up.
