In an unfortunate turn of events, Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 Sabrina Deraneck has resigned from her title. She will not be representing Venezuela at the upcoming edition of Miss Grand International 2022.
Sabrina Deraneck took to her official social media as she wrote the official announcement, “Giving up a dream or a crown is not easy, but it's not bad to do it when it comes to your health and all your personal well-being. Sometimes there are those very personal reasons that force you to do it and this time it was my turn.”
“Through the following statement, she reported the difficult decision to give up my title as Miss Grand Venezuela 2022. It is not about not fighting for what you want, because my main flag is the way that I fight for everything I want without ever stopping for the obstacles of life, it is about understanding that things may or may not happen. God is in charge of guiding my steps and making them the right thing, at the time and time it is”, she added.
Sabrina also said that there will always be reasons to continue her journey and represent her country at a later stage. The stunning beauty is 23 years of age and a teacher by profession. She hails from the state of Mérida. Not new to the pageant world, Sabrina holds the titles of Reina del Sol 2021 and Miss Merida 2021. Along with that, Sabrina also participated in El Concurso by Osmel Sousa 2022 where she managed to come out as the first runner-up.
The Miss Grand Venezuela organization will announce the new representative who will represent Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2022.
