Lesser known facts about Miss Universe Haiti 2019 Gabriela Clesca Vallejo

At the coronation night of Miss Haiti 2019, Gabriela Clesca Vallejo was handed over the national crown amongst twelve other beauties at the conclusion. The 25-year-old beauty is a Haitian-Canadian model and was born from a Dominican mother and a Haitian-Congolese father and was raised at Haiti where she was taught French and Creole. During her teenage, her family moved to Canada and today she is a proud Canadian citizen residing in the Nation’s Capital, Ottawa. She recently completed her final year of University Studying International Development and Civil Law at the University of Ottawa. Along with her education, she works for the Federal Government at the Innovation Intellectual Canadian Property.

Gabriela has always dreamed of being a role model by virtue of personal and public successes and achievements. Through her passion for dance and fashion, she has always been a strong and positive influence in her society. She is also a graduate of classical ballet and modern dance and uses her artistic talents to make a difference in the lives of others by helping and giving back to her community. The diva made her debut in the World of Fashion in her youth, where she had received buckets full of success. She firmly believes in giving back to those who have given to her and wanted to impact lives via fashion.

Gabriela also explored many charities and fundraising projects which led her to create her own outreach foundation in Haiti. She worked in innumerable locations as a volunteer, acquiring knowledge and experience that helped to expedite her goal. Considering her talent and zest, she was earlier appointed to represent Canada at Miss Supranational 2014, where she ended up being placed in the Top 20 and won the Miss Congeniality award. She later represented West Ottawa at the 2017 Miss Universe Canada pageant where she again secured a spot in the Top 20 at the conclusion. Thus, with her strong past experience, she managed to win the Miss Haiti title.

Dreaming of representing her nation gracefully and win the international crown, she will be able to achieve it through her talent and enthusiasm. We wish her all the best for the international journey of Miss Universe 2019 and hope that she achieves what she dreams of.
