At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Honduras Universe 2018, Miss Santa Barbara Universe 2018 Venessa Villars has been crowned the new queen and will now represent Honduras in Miss Universe 2018 to be held on 17th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, where Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will crown her successor.
Venessa Villars was crowned by Miss Universe Honduras 2017 April Tobie. Unfortunately, April was not able to secure a position in the Top 40 in the finale of Miss Universe 2017 where she represented Honduras.
Venessa is 20 years of age and represented Santa Barbara in Miss Honduras Universe 2018. She is no stranger to the pageants world as she was Miss International Honduras 2017 and represented Honduras in Miss International 2017 where she was in the Top 15 in the finale. With this prior experience, she was already a strong contestant at the finale. So, this was a well-deserved win for Venessa.
