The coronation night of Miss Ilocos Norte 2022 was held on 6th May 2022 at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena, Laoag City. Miss Laoag City 2022 Keith Alawag was crowned as the new Miss Ilocos Norte 2022 at the end of the event finale. The pageant had its first set of live audience since the start of the pandemic.

Keith Alawag is a 21-year-old diva who bested 22 other delegates to win the state crown. She is a micro-influencer and budding actress who has been recently included in an upcoming movie entitled Seasons which is top-billed by Carlo Aquino and Lovie Poe. At the competition, Keith also claimed the major Sirib award as well as best in terno and swimwear.

The newly crowned queen Miss Ilocos Norte 2022 Keith Alawag’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Sophia Noreen Ingrid Guillermo of Dingras,

2nd Runner-up – Fhebe Kate Ballesteros of Sarrat

3rd Runner-up – Alliah Gwyn Romero of Batac City

4th Runner-up – Marianne Abigail Pagdilao of Pinili

As this year’s queen of the north, Alawag will be representing the province in national beauty pageants such as the Miss Universe Philippines. Mayor Michael Marcos Keon also congratulated Alawag for being crowned Miss Ilocos Norte 2022. “Thank you for bringing us the pride that has proved that Laoag City is truly shining!” he quoted.
