With six Miss World queens, who have made India live in the wave of pride by marking its value on the global map, the hunt for the next Miss World queen is on its way as the coronation night of Miss India East 2019 took place with a charm on 23rd April 2019 at The Westin Kolkata, where different beauties from the entire East zone represented the different provinces in the finale.

The evening witnessed the crowning of 13 beauties from different states of east zone i.e. Miss India Chhattisgarh, Miss India Bihar, Miss India Jharkhand, Miss India Odisha, Miss India West Bengal, Miss India Guwahati, Miss India Assam, Miss India Arunachal Pradesh, Miss India Manipur, Miss India Meghalaya, Miss India Mizoram, Miss India Nagaland and Miss Tripura.

All these winners will now represent their respective states at the Grand Finale of Miss India 2019 which is scheduled to be hosted in Mumbai on 15th June. The evening was more like a star-studded affair as Neha Dhupia and Esha Gupta were a part of the panel of judges. Neha Dhupia was overwhelmed with happiness about the fact that the deserving candidates will be representing their states in the grand finale of the pageant. She also exclaimed that “I started my journey with Miss India and since then it has been a never-ending relationship with the pageant. Every year I see a fresh lot of ambitious and enthusiastic girls with the dream to win Miss India and make India proud at the prestigious Miss world. I’m looking forward to have Manushi’s successor this year.”
