Miss Intercontinental Netherlands 2021 Suzette van der Pol’s court includes:

First runner-up: Melissa Bottema

Second runner-up: Solange Dekker

Third runner-up: Desie Vuurman

Fourth runner-up: Luna Isabella Stienstra

The beauty queen feels extremely honoured and blessed that she has been a part of such a prestigious beauty pageant, which has helped her to gain confidence and strength to represent the country at its best at Miss Intercontinental 2021. In addition to her personal goals of gaining more knowledge and self-development, she wants to create more political awareness among young people. It amazes the diva how many young people are not aware of what is happening in The Hague, and she would like to change this. She had mentioned, "I advocate political education as an effective means of lending voices to the youth. It stimulates their maturity to be potential leaders in the future. Likewise, I also want to convince young people to step forward and speak out, and not just tuck themselves into their worlds. "

In her spare time, she is always with her horses or cycling. Suzette likes to be sporty and mentioned that there are plenty of beautiful routes in Friesland to drive and cycle, so she loves to do that. On asking about what makes her unique, the diva stated, "What makes me unique is my interest in politics. I enjoy this and I follow it closely. I saw the dynamics of governance and how it shapes society and us. But it's sad to think that politics is only taught superficially, showing only who the key players are. I think that the lessons devoted to politics in secondary education are below par. I wish to see students taught about what they can achieve through politics, how to become politically active and create awareness that politics is present in everything we do. You can also recognize me by my long brown hair. "

With such strong and confident ideas and opinions, Suzette emerges as one of the strongest contenders for the crown. She is strong, determined, focused, and enthusiastic about the competition, which will surely help her to perform well and make the Netherlands proud.
