The finale of United Kingdom Power Pageant 2018 concluded with seven crowning from the countries of Wales, England, and Scotland. The queens crowned at the pageant will be representing their respective countries at the Miss International 2018, Miss Intercontinental 2018, and Miss Grand 2018 pageants.

One of the newly crowned queens was Miss Intercontinental Scotland 2018 Laura MacMillan.

Living in Bearsden, Laura is a teacher at Dance Republic. She is also working as a Leisure attendant at Braehead Arena, and a former Scottish Rockettes Pro Dance Team dancer. She has also had previous experience in pageantry as she was Miss Teen Galaxy Scotland in the year 2015.

Laura poured her heart out after her very emotional win and wrote on her Facebook account:

I have honestly the most incredible time at the UK Power Pageant this weekend. Not only am I walking away with friends for life but an experience of a lifetime. In January I will be travelling to the Philippines to represent Scotland at the Miss Intercontinental Final. What an absolute honour!!!

Firstly I’d like to say a massive thank you to Holly, the pageant girl team and the judges for a fabulous weekend and choosing me to represent this amazing title.
