Andrea Rubio of Venezuela crowned Miss International 2023

The finale of the 61st edition of Miss International was held on 26th October 2023 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan where Andrea Rubio of Venezuela was crowned Miss International 2023. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg of Germany.

Andrea is 23 years of age and holds a bachelor’s in social communication. She is a professional model and a digital content creator. Andrea considers perseverance as her strength and believes discipline is the bridge between goals and achievements. She was a part of our favourites for the crown as well.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Sofía Osío representing Colombia

2nd Runner-up – Camila Díaz representing Peru

3rd Runner-up – Nicole Borromeo representing Philippines

4th Runner-up – Vanessa Hayes representing Bolivia

Top 7 also included Itzía Garcia representing Mexico, Supaporn Ritthipruek representing Thailand.

Top 15 also included Linette Clément representing Panama, Zoi Asoumanaki representing Greece, Nassita Diako representing Côte D'Ivoire, Yamilex Hernandez representing Dominican Republic, Nguy?n Phuong Nhi representing Vietnam, Amanda Solis representing Puerto Rico, Verna Leung representing Hong Kong and Cassandra Yap representing Malaysia.

 

 

The Continental Queens were also announced at the start of the competition who were as follows –

Miss International Africa 2023 – Mercy Jane Adorkor Pappoe of Ghana

Miss International America 2023 – Kenyatta Beazer of USA

Miss International Asia Pacific – Emily Yau of Macau

Miss International Europe – Alisha Cowie of United Kingdom

A number of special awards were also presented at the finals night; Best National Costume went to Teresa Sara of Angola, Best Evening Gown was awarded to Farhana Nariswari of Indonesia, Miss Fitness went to Charlotte Muziri of Zimbabwe and Miss Photogenic was won by Georgia Waddington of New Zealand.

The panel of jury who were in-charge of crowning the next Miss International includes Roberto Seminario — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to Japan, Ryohei Miyata — Chairman of the Public Interest Incorporated Association, Nitten, Junko Koshino — Fashion designer, Norika Fujiwara — Miss Nippon 1992 and model and actress, Kylie Verzosa — Miss International 2016 from the Philippines, Laurie Simpson — Miss International 1987 from Puerto Rico, Jasmin Selberg — Miss International 2022 from Germany, Supapan Pichaironarongsongkram — Chairwoman of Chao Phraya Express Boat, Senko Ikenobo — Headmaster designate at Ikenobo, Soujitsu Kobori — Head of Kobori Enshu school of tea and Akemi Shimomura — President of the Miss International Organization.
