The splendid finale of Miss Bolivia 2017 came to a conclusion on 1st July 2017, and Carla Maldonado Simoni was crowned as Miss International Bolivia 2017. Carla succeeds Miss International Bolivia 2016 Katherine Anazgo Orozco, and will now represent Bolivia at the Miss International 2017 pageant to be held in Tokyo, Japan, later this year.
A student of interior designing, Carla Maldonado loves to travel and wants to pursue a career in jewellery designing. She is passionate about electronic and pop music. Carla admires Malala Yousafzai because she considers that despite the obstacles of the society and customs of her country (Pakistan) she is a woman who fought for her rights.
At the same pageant, Yasmin Pinto Solar was crowned as the Miss World Bolivia 2017, and will represent Bolivia at Miss World 2017 pageant. Gleisy Noguer Hassen was crowned as Miss Universe Bolivia 2017 and will represent Bolivia at Miss Universe 2017 pageant, Giancarla Fernández Ferrufino was crowned as Miss Earth Bolivia 2017 and will represent Bolivia at Miss Earth 2017, and Nimeyra Flores Hurtado was crowned as Miss Continentes Unidos Bolivia 2017 and will represent Bolivia at Miss United Continents 2017.
