The organization of Miss International Chile announced Catalina Huenulao Olmos as the official Miss International Chile 2021 on 5th June 2021. The announcement was made via Miss International Chile’s official social media account and now Catalina will represent Chile at Miss International 2021, scheduled to take place in November in Poland. The beauty queen succeeds Miss International Chile 2019 Ximena Huala Alcaino for the title.
Hailing from the city of Temuco, Catalina is 22-years-old and stands 173 cm tall. She is currently studying business administration while pursuing a diploma in participation and human rights. She is passionate about beauty pageants and the platform that they give to women to carry out their cause.
In her spare time, the beauty queen loves doing sports, going to the gym, which has been her lifestyle for four years. She has been cycling for two years and loves reading books about economics, finance, politics, and personal growth. One of the qualities that identify her is that she always likes to learn something new. She mentioned, "I dedicate myself to carrying out community service in my Mapuche community, which is an indigenous community in Chile."
The diva has started to prepare for the competition as she is working on her skills and abilities that are required to win the competition along with working on her cause as well. She has been helping the people affected by the covid-19 in her community with essentials and has encouraged people to join her too to help the people. Catalina is a powerful, opinionated, and confident woman who understands the importance of having a voice and making an impact on society. She believes that if one raises a voice for a cause that is needed, they eventually end up making a difference in society.
Catalina is working on her public speaking, English speaking, correcting postures, eating healthy to maintain herself for the competition. In one of her posts, she shared that she is constantly improving herself to represent Chile in the best way and she is proud of herself. She thanks everyone who was on this journey with her and had helped her in every way possible for their kind words, motivation, and support. "I will continue preparing and striving to give my best and leave my beautiful city on top," she said after the preliminary. I will leave everything to the will of God, whatever he wants for me. "
The diva is extremely close to her culture, and city, which is why she explained that when she received Temuco’s band/sash, she was emotional. She wrote, "That land that has seen me grow and has seen me develop as a woman, in which I undoubtedly keep beautiful memories. I feel deeply honoured to be able to represent Temuco and to be the spokesperson for all that great culture and history. " She is beautiful, confident, and determined to improve every day, learn something new and be the best version of herself while representing Chile at Miss International 2021.
