Jennifer Deku to represent Ghana at Miss International 2021

Jennifer Deku is the official representative of Ghana for Miss International 2021 to be held on November 2021 at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Jennifer Deku succeeded Miss International Ghana 2019 Princess Owusua Gyamfi for the title.

Jennifer is 27-years-old and was crowned as the first princess of Miss Tourism Ghana 2020 after which she earned the opportunity to represent Ghana at Miss International 2021. She is a registered midwife with experience in the care and treatment of clients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages of pregnancy. She is also a beauty pageant queen who is excited about representing Ghana at Miss International 2021.

 

 

Talking about her profession as a midwife, she mentioned, "As a wellness advocate and midwife, I take pride in my ability to execute my responsibilities thoughtfully to produce exceptional results. I am seeking to leverage my background into a midwifery position with a progressive hospital, " she said. She is excited about showcasing her culture and traditions on an international platform as she believes that Ghana has a lot to offer that people might miss out on.

Jennifer decided to enter Miss Tourism Ghana 2020 because she aspired to learn more about her country and the beauty pageant gave her a chance to travel across the country, learn more about the culture and traditions. She also mentioned that joining the pageant helped her to have power and a platform to inspire people across the country. She is strong, confident, and has started to prepare for the competition, and believes that she will be able to perform her best to make Ghana proud.

 

 

The stunning beauty also wants to break the stereotype that divas from the health profession cannot spread their wings and choose more than their health career. She is excited about flying to Japan and learning about their culture and traditions and representing Ghana with utmost sincerity and honesty. She is looking forward to learning new things and coming back to Ghana to share them with people. She is beautiful, confident, and focused on performing her best on stage.
