Nikita Horan crowned Miss International New Zealand 2019

At the grand coronation night of Miss World New Zealand 2019 held on 27th May 2019 at the Bruce Mason Centre, Nikita Horan was crowned Miss International New Zealand 2019 as she was adjudged the first runner-up of the competition. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss International New Zealand 2018 Natasha Unkovich and will now represent her country in Miss International 2019.

Pageant Veteran, Nikita Horan also represented New Zealand in Miss Tourism International 2018. From Miss Auckland last year to winning the title of Miss International New Zealand 2019, Nikita’s journey has been nothing less than outstanding.

The gorgeous beauty failed to place her feelings in words as she took to her social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Miss International New Zealand 2019 1st Runner Up! Trying to find the words is proving extremely difficult. The gratitude I have in my heart is endless to all of those that have supported me all the way from Miss Auckland last year to placing second and to being crowned Miss International NZ last night! Also at the finale, Lucy Brock was crowned Miss World New Zealand 2019 as she became the official representative of New Zealand in Miss World 2019. Emma Gribble placed second runner-up, while Jasmine Huang was third runner-up. Morgan Hands and Tess Austin were fourth runner-up and fifth runner-up respectively.

New Zealand has won Miss International title just once in 1971 when Jane Cheryl Hansen was crowned the Miss International queen. After that, New Zealand in yet to win another title and under Nikita’s delegation, the country might as well win it this time.
