The Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 6th June 2022 where stunning delegates from all over the country competed to be crowned yesterday, Sunday, as the new sovereigns of the Puerto Rican beauty of Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico 2022. At the end of the event, Paola González Torres of San Sebastian was crowned Miss International Puerto Rico 2022.
The stunning diva is a chemistry student and also a Volleyball player. Paola is extremely proud of representing the town and now being the dream of Puerto Rico. The diva recently turned her dreams into reality as she gave a stellar jury interview and was elated to share her purpose and for it to be heard.
Last year, Cristina represented San Sebastián at Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 competition and was crowned Miss Earth Water Puerto Rico 2021 at the end of the event finale. She later on replaced Valerie Vigoreaux as the new Miss Earthh Puerto Rico and represented the country at the virtual Miss Earth 2021 pageant, where her performance was highly appreciated but the diva finished unplaced. Most recently she was also a delegate at Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022.
Other queens crowned at the gala night were Oxana Rivera of Dorado and Ariette Banchs of Ponce who were crowned Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2022 and Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2022 respectively. The court for Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico 2022 included –
First finalist – Miss Guaynabo Sarahi Figueroa
Second finalist – Miss Arroyo Lissette Santiago
Third finalist – Miss Caguas Jaimar Cruz
Fourth finalist – Miss Río Grande Lityaret Hernández
Paola succeeds Miss International Puerto Rico 2019 Ivana Carolina Irizarry Fritany, who represented the country at Miss International 2019 and finished among the Top 15 finalists. This year’ Paola will represent Puerto Rico at Miss International 2022 competing for a third Miss International crown for the country. Miss International 2022 will be the 60th edition of the Miss International pageant scheduled to be held in December in Japan.
