Phuong Anh Ngoc Pham crowned Miss International Vietnam 2020

The organization of Miss Vietnam hosted the grand finale of Miss Vietnam 2020 on 21st November 2020 at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Ðo Thi Hà was crowned Miss Vietnam 2020 and earned her chance to represent Vietnam at Miss World 2020 stage. The winner succeeds Miss World Vietnam 2019 Luong Thùy Linh for the title.

Phuong Anh Ngoc Pham who was adjudged as the first runner-up was crowned as Miss International Vietnam 2020 and will be representing Vietnam at Miss International 2020 stage. She succeeds Miss International Vietnam 2019 Nguyen Tuong San for the title and is very excited to represent Vietnam at international stage.

Phuong Anh is 22-years-old and stands 177 cm tall and has passed the entrance exam to Foreign Trade University with a score of 25.75.  She has a series of very respectable academic records: Winning the 3rd prize for National Excellent Student in French 2016, 4-year full scholarship at RMIT University, 1 in foreign language (IELTS 8.0 and French Delf C1)

Along with Phuong Anh being adjudged as first runner-up and crowned as Miss International Vietnam 2020, Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao was adjudged as the second runner-up and crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2020 at the end of the event finale.

Phuong Anh was born into a family with a tradition of fondness for learning. Her two siblings are both national excellent students, students of gifted high schools specialized in HCMC. Phuong Anh shared that because she was the youngest child, she was pampered by her parents and siblings.  Phuong Anh participated in the Vietnamese Girls Ao Dai competition in 2015 and won two consecutive awards: Miss Ao Dai and Best Female Student.

During the competition, she was asked, “If you choose between a cold head and a warm heart, what would you choose?”, to which she answered, “Sometimes in life, we need a cold mind to solve problems, make choices and sometimes need a heart to spread love. Therefore, I will choose a balance between a cold head and a warm heart.”

The diva has shared that she will try to use youth, energy, and time to fulfill her responsibilities, especially in terms of education. “I will help disadvantaged children to access conditions. After the coronation, the first thing I want to do is go to Thien An Shelter to support and help visually impaired children,” she added. She is very grateful to the organization and everyone who helped her to perform her best on-stage and believes that they will keep supporting her until the very end.
