Former Miss Irelands in the Top 30 under 30 list

19 Jun 2018 | Angelique Reyes

Beauty queens are from a league of their own, and don’t fail to prove it time and again. No matter which field they step into, they always give their best and shine through. Two of the latest beauty queens to do so are Miss Ireland 2011 Holly Carpenter, and Miss Ireland 2013 Aoife Walsh.

The two beauty queens have made it to one of the most important lists in Ireland, Goss.ie’s Top 30 under 30. The beauty queens sure must be thrilled as the placement was well deserved, and much called for.

The online portal brings out the list annually, and also stated the reasons of including the beauty queens in it.

Holly Carpenter (Miss Ireland 2011)

Top model, jewellery entrepreneur and former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter has achieved so much at such a young age.

At 26 Holly has already launched her own business (jewellery company Love Lift), landed her own weekly newspaper column, and she continues to be one of the country’s top influencers.

The brunette won Miss Ireland in 2011, and is still seen as one of the most successful Miss Ireland’s to date. (sic)

Aoife Walsh (Miss Ireland 2013)

Former Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh has carved out an extremely successful career for herself – all by the age of 28.

The red-head from Tipperary came on the scene in 2013 when she beat thousands of hopefuls to become Miss Ireland.

Deemed as one of the most-successful Miss Ireland’s to date, Aoife later became the face of the Newbridge Silverware Guinness collaboration – alongside rugby star Rob Kearney. (sic)

Can you think of any other former Miss Ireland that should have made the cut?
